Transforming Neighbourhoods accepts videos in a wide range of formats. Please note that all videos will automatically be converted into FlashVideo format once uploaded, unless they are already an .flv file.

Recommendations:
Videos are at 30 frames per second
MPG4 and WMV appear to work the best
Preferred resolutions: 320x240, or 640x480 (4:3 ratio)
If exporting 320x240, bitrate is best to be over 800kbps, and at 640x480, bitrate is best at over 2mbps

Technical Requirements:
Videos should be uploaded in the following formates: FLV, WMV, MP4, MPEG, MPG, AVI, ASF, QuickTime, MOV, RAM, RA
Videos must contain recognizable and relevant video content
Video frame rates should be near 30, and above 12 frames per second
File bitrate should be above 300kbps
Please note that files above 100mb will not be uploadable due to their excessive size. Following the above recommendations should help you maintain a reasonable file size.
