Sinoja's Story

Sinoja tells the story of her involvement with a study circle and how it inspired her to work with junior youth in St. Jamestown. She speaks about the unifying effects the junior youth groupsJunior youth groups are made up of young people between the ages of 12-14 who gather together regularly to learn how to serve their communities, develop their powers of expression and sharpen their capacity to understand the moral implications of their thoughts and actions. They do all of this with the help of an animator (an older youth who acts as a peer and facilitator). have had on their participants.
